    Position: Chiropractor Part-time or Full-time available

    Location: Sherwood Park, AB

    Summary

    Reporting to the Director of Allied Health, the Chiropractor provides a variety of related therapies depending on specialty and areas of interest. This could include injury, illness or disability through movement and exercise, manual therapy, education and advice. These services are delivered to patients of Park Integrative Health (PIH). PIH is a private health and wellness clinic specializing in providing comprehensive, collaborative healthcare to individuals in the greater Strathcona County and Edmonton area.

    Responsibilities
    • Review patient charts
    • Direct Patient care including assessment of physical diagnosis, establishing treatment goals, and executing treatment plans
    • Conduct initial patient assessments
    • Administer chiropractic treatments
    • Monitor patient progress
    • Provide education and advice
    • Maintain patient records
    • Collaborate with other health care practitioners at PIH, including physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and nurse injectors, to establish short- and long-term treatment plans
    • Maintain professional conduct
    • Prepare treatment room for each client
    • Schedule treatments in lieu of administrative assistant
    • Perform in-house laundry, if necessary
    • Assist with other clinic activities as required
    • Uphold the mission, vision, and values of Park Integrative Health
    • Uphold and follow all policies and procedures as outlined in the Park Integrative Health Human Resources Manual
    • Provide ongoing evaluation of client progress
    • Administer and collect outcome measurement information
    • Participate in quality improvement initiatives
    • Communicate with appropriate referral sources and stakeholders
    • Engage in continuous learning and skills development
    • Contribute to a positive patient experience
    Qualifications
    • Full Registration with the Provincial College of Chiropractors of Alberta and licensed
    • 2-3 years experience considered an asset
      • OR a strong entrepreneurial spirit to build a sustainable practice
      • ***New Grads with full registration/licensing are welcome to apply***
    • Current CPR Certification
