    Position: Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist, Part-time or Full-time available

    Location: Sherwood Park, AB

    Summary

    Reporting to the Director of Allied Health, the Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist provides a variety of related therapies depending on specialty and areas of interest. This could include pre- and post-natal care, incontinence, pelvic organ collapse, pelvic pain, diastasis rectus abdominus, past abdominal or pelvic surgery, chronic constipation, sexual pain, birth preparation, etc. These services are delivered to patients of Park Integrative Health (PIH). PIH is a private health and wellness clinic that specializes in providing comprehensive, collaborative healthcare to individuals in the greater Strathcona County and Edmonton area.

    Responsibilities
    • Review patient chart
    • Direct Patient care including assessment of physical diagnosis, establishing treatment goals, and executing treatment plans
    • Provide pre and post-natal care
    • Collaborate with other health care practitioners at PIH to establish short- and long-term treatment plans (you would work alongside family physicians, internal medicine specialists, registered massage therapists, acupuncturists, psychologists, nutritionists and energy healers)
    • Maintain professional conduct
    • Prepare treatment room for each client
    • Schedule treatments in lieu of administrative assistant
    • Perform in-house laundry, if necessary
    • Assist with other clinic activities as required
    • Schedule patients in lieu of administrative assistant
    • Uphold the mission, vision, and values of Park Integrative Health
    • Uphold and follow all policies and procedures as outlined in the Park Integrative Health Human Resources Manual
    • Provide ongoing evaluation of client progress
    • Administer and collect outcome measurement information
    • Participate in quality improvement initiatives
    • Communicate with appropriate referral sources and stakeholders
    • Engage in continuous learning and skills development
    • Contribute to a positive patient experience
    Qualifications
    • Full Registration with Provincial College/Association (Physiotherapy Alberta College & Association) and licensed
    • Desired asset but not required- Manual Therapy Skills: Level 2 or Higher.
    • Pelvic Health Certification
    • 2-3 years experience considered an asset
      • OR a strong entrepreneurial spirit to build a sustainable practice

    • Current CPR Certification
