To Our Valued Clients:
On April 30, the Alberta Government announced a phased relaunch strategy. Public health Order CMOH 16-2020 issued by Dr. Deena Hinshaw, Chief Medical Officer of Health, indicated that some health care professionals regulated under the Health Professions Act (HPA) are able to return to work.
At this time, we are able to safely resume some services including:
– In-person essential medical services
* Note: Phone or virtual option will remain available
– In-person psychological services
* Note: Telepsychology option will remain available
– In-person dietitian services
* Note: Phone or virtual option will remain available
For those of you choosing to visit the clinic, we have implemented some changes including:
– Active and Passive Patient/Client Screening Procedures
* You will receive a phone call 1-3 days prior to your appointment to complete pre-screening questions
* When you arrive at PIH for your appointment please follow all posted signage
* If your appointment is scheduled during 08:00 – 16:30 you will call 780-570-8481 to register for your appointment and wait in your vehicle until your provider is ready
* Once entering the building you will be required to perform hand hygiene
* You will complete screening questions and a waiver at each visit
* Please follow all posted signage to help us keep everyone safe and healthy!
– Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
* Masks will be worn by providers unless 2-m social distancing can be maintained
– Changes to Payment Methods
* Available payment methods are: credit card and e-transfer (no cash or debit at this time)

Cancellation Policy Suspended:
Given the current COVID-19 situation, we are temporarily suspending our cancellation policy for patients and clients at PIH.
If you are feeling unwell, we ask that you cancel your appointment at PIH.
If you need to cancel a holistic booking, you may do so at ANY TIME by clicking the cancel appointment link in your appointment confirmation/reminder email from Schedulista. 
If you need to cancel a medical booking with a physician, please phone the clinic prior to your appointment to discuss rescheduling or changing the appointment to a phone consultation. PLEASE NOTE: you may only reach the clinic by phone on WEEKDAYS between 8:00am and 12:00pm, and 1:00pm and 7:00pm. 

To our new massage and acupuncture clients: In lieu of coming in 15 minutes early to fill out your paperwork, you can now download and complete our intake form and bring it with you to your first appointment. You can download it here.
