Our Medical Team
Our team is comprised of practitioners from all avenues of health and wellness. Each individual is committed to helping patients navigate their journey to health.

Dr. Neeja K. Bakshi (she/her), Internal Medicine
Dr. Neeja Bakshi trained in the US as an internal medicine specialist and moved to Edmonton in 2011. Since then, she has worked as an inpatient physician at the Royal Alexandra Hospital and as Section Chief for Internal Medicine. She holds a Directorship for Site Medical Education at RAH, and has a passion for learning, educating and sharing experiences.
Through her own personal health journey and those of her patients, she has truly come to understand the importance of collaborative and integrative health.

Debra Bennett(she/her), BSc, BScN, MN:NP
Debra Bennett is a Nurse Practitioner at Park Integrative Health. She has a BSc with a specialization in psychology, a BSc in nursing from the University of Alberta and a master’s degree in nursing from Athabasca University. She has over 20 years of comprehensive healthcare experience. Debra is passionate about wellness and disease prevention. In addition to her medical training, she has completed a 600 hr Ayurveda Health Counsellor program through the California College of Ayurveda and a 200 hr ayurvedic yoga teacher training program thru Sacred Seeds Yoga. She believes in the power of an integrative practice to support people in achieving optimum wellness. On a personal note, Deb enjoys living out in the country with her husband, three sons, two dogs and thousands of honey bees!

Dr. Rona Hetland (Ribeiro) (she/her), MD
Dr. Rona Hetland (Ribeiro) is originally from Saskatchewan. She completed her medical degree at the University of Montemorelos and her Family Medicine residency at the University of Saskatchewan. She has practiced Family Medicine since 2007. She has a special interest in Mental Health and in teaching patients to prevent disease with healthy lifestyle management.

Dr. Joseph Senez (he/him), Internal Medicine
Dr. Joseph Senez is an Internal Medicine specialist at Park Integrative Health. He completed his medical training, residency, and Internal Medicine fellowship at the University of Alberta. In addition to Park Integrative Health, he is on staff at the Royal Alexandra Hospital, where he serves as the Principle Lead Physician for the Ambulatory Care program for GIM. He is passionate about medical education, and is the Royal Alexandra Hospital representative for the Internal Medicine Fellowship program at University of Alberta.
Dr. Patricia Sigurdson (she/her), MD
Dr. Patricia Sigurdson is a family physician at Park Integrative Health. She completed her medical training and family medicine residency at the University of Alberta. She is an avid supporter of preventative health and lifestyle optimization.
Dr. Maria Todor (she/her), MD
Dr. Maria Todor completed her undergraduate training in Sibiu, Romania, and Family Medicine Residency at University of Alberta.
