  • Dr. Neeja K. Bakshi, Co-founder, Medical Director

    Dr. Neeja Bakshi, founder and Medical Director of Park Integrative Health. Neeja is a board certified internist, and has practiced in the US as well as Edmonton for the last 7 years. Her passion is adult medicine and is a strong advocate for comprehensive patient care, be it physical, mental or emotional health. She specializes in complex care of adult patients with interests in medical education. Her vision is to create a space in which patients have access to each and every tool that will help them achieve their best health.

  • Brandon Jacobs, Co-founder, Director of Holistic Health

    Brandon Jacobs, Director of Holistic Health at Park Integrative. Brandon is a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT), E-RYT 500 Yoga teacher, AFLCA certified personal trainer, and a retired teacher with a B.Ed, BPE. His personal mission is to support every individual in their journey to becoming their best self.

  • Heather Gazley, Director of Business Integration

    Heather, the Director of Business Integration at Park Integrative Health. She has recently completed the Acupuncture program at Macewan University. In a previous life she was an educator and holds a Bachelor of Education from the University of Alberta. She says, “I believe that every individual has the capacity to be well – it is my role to support their journey as they move toward a state of remembered wellness.”

    Mahesh Upadhyay, Executive Director at Park Integrative Health. Mahesh has over 15 years of experience in electrical engineering and business ownership. Mahesh is passionate about ensuring Park Integrative Health is a state of the art facility that will meet the diverse needs of patients in Sherwood Park and surrounding areas.

  • Heather Bracken, R. Ac., H.H.P.

    “As a practitioner of Holistic Health, I feel my life’s work is to encourage and hold space for personal awareness and self-discovery to arise in my patients by holding them accountable to their hopes and dreams for a more fulfilling and healthy life.”


    With over 5 years of combined educational studies at Grant MacEwan University in Edmonton, Alberta and two diploma programs under her belt, Heather is certified as a Registered Acupuncturist, Holistic Health Practitioner (specializing in Western Herbology) and Reiki Master. Having practiced in the alternative healthcare field for over 10 consecutive years, Heather works in combining her modalities to create unique and specialized treatment sessions for each one of her patients.


    By promoting an attitude of internal awareness, personal discovery and self-care, it is her ambition to support others in achieving their goals and reach their highest potential on all levels.


    One of the foundational components of Heather’s practice is the study of neuroscience and neuroplasticity aka: the inner workings of the nervous system and the inherent ability of neurons (or nerve cells in the brain) to adapt to injury, disease or disharmony such as chronic stress, addiction, anxiety, depression, etc… by restructuring and rewiring themselves to stimulate healing and recovery. With enough willingness, perseverance and dedication, it is Heather’s unwavering belief that the ability to heal is always possible.

  • Céline Sandberg, R. Ac.

    Céline is a registered acupuncturist whose goal is to empower people on their journey to better health. She has a special interest in fertility, perinatal care, as well as hormonal health, mental-emotional health, and trauma. Céline appreciates that healing should be holistic as well as individualized, and so each treatment is uniquely designed for each patient.


    She is an advocate for patients receiving the best health care options available through the blending of East and West medicines.

  • Nicole Broadhurst, R.Ac. and TCMD

    Nicole is a registered acupuncturist and TCMD who graduated from the Doctor of Chinese Medicine program at ACATCM in Calgary, AB. She specializes in Fertility – both natural conception and assisted reproductive treatments (IVF/IUI), Sexual Health and Psychological Disorders. She enjoys working with individuals and couples wanting to grow their family, restore their sexual vitality and achieve a balanced mental state.

    Her countless hours of research and development, along with mentoring under her renowned professors and colleagues, allow her the opportunity to effectively treat people on their road to health and wellness. Having an immense respect for science, she integrates western medical advances and knowledge into her approach to health. She continues to bridge the gap between science and spirit.

  • Richard Shimada, R.Ac.

    Richard was born and raised in Japan. His mother practiced as a General Physician at the University of Tokyo Central Hospital, while his grandmother was a Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner. Therefore he has grown familiar with both Western and Traditional Chinese (and Japanese Minimalist) Medicine. His deep-rooted fascination was heavily influenced by his mother who has an insatiable thirst for knowledge accompanied with an immense desire to help those in need. Practicing Traditional Chinese Medicine has become his natural calling.


    He’s known to be a perfectionist, someone who strives to be as simple, efficient and effective as possible – embodying the words adaption and application. Having an educational background in Western Medicine, complements his innate understanding of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Richard is adept in a minimalist diagnostic process that is easy to understand with proven results.


    Certified as an R.Ac, Richard also specializes in Peripheral Nerves Disorders, Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSK), Pain Management, Mental health, Gastrointestinal disorders, as well as Cosmetic Acupuncture.   • Grant Wilson, RAc., Clinical Herbologist, Iridologist

    Grant is a Registered Acupuncturist and Clinical Herbal Therapist, health educator and health practitioner. He has been a community, business and health care innovator in the Edmonton area for over twenty years. Grant is dedicated to assisting you in developing individualized care for your lifestyle.

    He encompasses aspects of nature and healing arts to assist in creating a healing environment for mind, body and spirit.

  • Terri Cuthill, RMT

    Terri Cuthill began her massage career with Alberta College of Massage Therapy, graduating in 2009. She has been working in Sherwood Park since 2011 at a spa and recently decided to move to a multi-disciplinary clinic. She has enjoyed giving back to the industry by teaching with the school since 2010 as a Teaching Assistant and an Instructor in 2015. To add to her skills, Terri has taken an introductory craniosacral workshop, a jade stone workshop and has her standard First Aid and level C CPR. Terri is an active member of the Remedial Massage Therapists Association. Terri enjoys helping others, whether it’s working out a client’s knots or helping a student learn the body.

  • Duncan Hankinson, RMT

    Duncan graduated from the MacEwan University Massage Therapy Program. After experiencing a debilitating injury, Duncan found massage to be crucial in the recovery process. He has since made massage therapy his passion and platform to help facilitate health and well-being in others. From years of playing high-level football, Duncan brings a team-oriented mindset, collaborating to develop and work towards the goal of the client.

    Duncan now brings his skills, life experience and inquisitive nature to individually treat, optimize and educate clients to suit their lifestyles and abilities. Along with Swedish Massage, Trigger Point Therapy and methods promoting relaxation, Duncan is specifically interested in and focused on Myofascial Release (MFR) and Muscle Energy Technique (MET). These treatment methods are of a gentle, yet effective rehabilitative nature when addressing pain, soft tissue imbalances and, ultimately, function.

    For leisure, Duncan likes to hike, snowboard and read philosophy, general health and the latest research on technology and neuroscience. He stays physically and mentally active with meditation, yoga and calisthenics.

  • Sam Frizzell, RMT

    Sam is an April 2018 graduate of the MaKami College 3000-hour program. She is very passionate about massage therapy and takes a detailed approach with her practice to ensure each client receives a well rounded and personalized treatment. Sam focuses on the rehabilitation, maintenance, relaxation, and education of her clients, thus ensuring each client can find relief in the clinic as well as at home. Her specialties include Swedish Relaxation Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Myofascial Cupping, Trigger Point Therapy, and Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation. Sam’s bright and cheery demeanor uplifts both staff and clients at Park Integrative Health. In her off time, she enjoys spending time with her dogs, the outdoors, and travelling.

  • Robert Johnston, RMT

    Robert is graduate of the Alberta College of Massage Therapy. Robert’s passion for health and wellness started in martial arts and fitness training, and inspired him to pursue a career in which he can assist and guide people through the healing process. Robert enjoys creating an open and welcoming environment in which he can use deep tissue and Swedish techniques, combined with a personalized approach to help create a treatment plan that will mesh comfortably into your lifestyle.

  • Kendra Lybbert, RMT, BSc.

    Kendra is a graduate of Massage Therapy Program at MacEwan University and has a Bachelor’s of Science in Exercise Physiology.


    She has always had a fascination with how and why the body functions the way it does and is eager to learn more throughout her career. Though always being told she had a natural sense for it, Kendra decided to practice massage therapy upon seeing its effectiveness in providing stress and pain relief to family members suffering from anxiety and chronic depression.


    The massage program opened many avenues for massage that she was keen to explore and utilize but stress and pain treatment are still her primary focus. Every treatment Kendra provides is personalized according to the needs of the patient, ranging from specific therapeutic treatments to general relaxation, but all have their foundation in stress and pain relief.

  • Shawna Benoit, R. Psych.

    Shawna Benoit is a Registered Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists and a member of the Psychologists Association of Alberta.


    Shawna has 14 years of experience working with children, adolescents and adults in the area of psychological health and wellness. Her passion is working with children and their families to better understand strengths and challenges that play into the search for wellness. Shawna supports individuals, children and families in the areas of anxiety, depression, adjustment, loss/change, social skills, emotional development, regulation, behavior and parenting. She has extensive knowledge of social-emotional and behavioral intervention, training in play therapy and a love for skills training programs for parents and their children. Shawna’s clinical training is primarily based in cognitive behavioral therapy, however, she draws from a number of approaches including Solution-Focused Therapy, Play Therapy and Trauma-Informed Practice. Shawna also specializes in psychoeducational assessment of children with learning challenges, intellectual delays, emotional difficulties, behavioral difficulties and developmental delays.


    In her free time she enjoys reading, horseback riding and being outdoors with her husband and two children.

  • Ally Thornton, R. Psych.

    Ally is a Registered Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists, is a member of the Psychologists’ Association of Alberta, and she has a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology through Athabasca University.


    Ally works from a collaborative approach, drawing on person-centered, existential, and Gestalt therapies, while implementing strategies from other therapies to support clients in meeting their goals. She enjoys working with all ages and sorts of clients, however she is particularly focused on addressing issues with depression, anxiety, eating disorders, and life transitions. Ally focuses on building a strong therapeutic relationship with her clients, while creating a safe and non-judgmental therapeutic environment. Ally truly believes in the potential that each person has to overcome adversity, to heal, and to see change. She would be honoured to be a part of your journey!


    In her down time, Ally enjoys yoga, reading, and spending time with family and friends.

  • Rebecca Leppard, Registered Provisional Psychologist

    Rebecca Leppard is a Registered Provisional Psychologist who strives to provide a warm, encouraging and safe environment to discuss whatever issues concern you. She has experience working with adolescents and adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression, OCD, grief, life stressors, relationship concerns, sexuality, chronic pain, gender identity issues and anger. Her person centered and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) approach means that she will encourage discussions about your thought processes, feelings and coping skills. In addition, she also incorporates mindfulness and self compassion into the work she does with clients. Since graduating from the University of Alberta with a Masters in Counselling Psychology, Rebecca enjoys working with her clients to help them achieve a more fulfilling life. Her practice is supervised by a Registered Psychologist and she is a member of the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP) and the Psychologists’ Association of Alberta (PAA).

    Richelle Ross is a Reiki & Transformational Healer who offers healing modalities from Reiki, Akashic Records Reading, Meditation and so much more that will bring you a closer connection to your essence. You’ll receive Richelle’s healing services with unconditional love, understanding, and a safe space to open and express yourself. You will be guided to your heart’s desires, how you want to live, how you want to see yourself and start transforming to your soul’s journey.     As a Registered Dietitian, Laura translates scientific research into practical recommendations and strategies with a client-centered approach. She is dedicated to her clients and passionate in supporting them to reach their nutrition goals.


    Laura takes a non-diet approach to nutrition counselling. Instead, she focuses on healing and/or preserving the relationship with food, honoring hunger and respecting fullness. She recognizes that there is more to health than the number on the scale and encourages clients to be kind to themselves and respect their bodies.


    Aside from exploring new recipes and browsing the aisles of the grocery store for new inspiration, Laura is an avid runner and mountain biker.

  • Ardelle Viau, CHNC

    After spending over eight years working within the weight loss industry and receiving her designation in Certified Holistic Nutrition, Ardelle launched her own nutrition consulting business that uses a holistic approach to create a sustainable and healthy lifestyle. She coaches her clients through step by step individualized programs, educating them on whole food and toxic-free living recommendations, while helping them understand the mind-body connection.


    Her programs are designed to meet you where you are and by simplifying the complex world of nutrition. She strives to ensure you meet your goals at a pace you are comfortable with so you can start feeling your absolute best.
