  • What is acupuncture?

Acupuncture is a modality within Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) that uses tiny, sterile needles inserted into the surface of the skin at significant acupuncture points to stimulate the body’s natural healing process and the flow of energy or Qi (pronounced “chi”). In TCM, it is thought that pain, disharmony, or disease is a result of blockages in the flow of your Qi. Acupuncture restores the flow of Qi and, therefore, brings your health into a state of remembered wellness.
