The Pediatric Care Program at PIH

The Pediatric Care Program at Park Integrative Health™ is designed to support health and wellness for infants, children, and youth ranging from a few weeks old to eighteen years of age.

What is the Pediatric care Program at PIH?

The Pediatric Care Program at Park Integrative Health™ (PIH) is a collaborative effort between various disciplines within PIH + Synapse with the goal of providing care to children and youth for common health and wellness concerns

This unique program has two core aspects:

  1. Offer education, resources, and referrals to parents to support them with their child’s health and wellness; and

  2. Provide direct care to children and youth through PIH and Synapse’s robust offering of allied health services.

The program gives pediatric patients access to a group of allied health professionals who work together to address health concerns. As with all programming at PIH and Synapse, our approach takes into consideration the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being of our patients.

An important note about this program: As PIH continues to address physician shortages, the Pediatric Care Program does not offer access to a family physician at this time. We continue to search for additional physicians to add to our clinic’s capacity.

When should I seek Pediatric Care Support?

When a parent or guardian is facing new or unexpected challenges with their child and is seeking guidance, resources, support, or referrals.

The Pediatric Care program is designed to provide support and treatment options for pediatric concerns relating to physical, mental, emotional, social, or spiritual health and well-being. Instead of searching the internet for unreliable and sometimes risky information, turn to us as your trusted source for guidance around your child’s health.

What should I expect from the Pediatric Care Program?

As with all of our programs and care at PIH, regardless of the patient’s age, you can expect to receive collaborative care, personalized treatment plans, resources and/or referrals to support all aspects of your child’s health and wellness.

The first step in the Pediatric Care Program is a comprehensive FREE 45-minute consultation by our Client Care Consultant, who is a Master of Social Work with a clinical designation. During the consultation, you will discuss any health concerns relating to your child, and an assessment will be completed. From there, educational resources may be provided, and referrals to allied health practitioners will be given depending on your child’s unique needs. A follow-up appointment with our Client Care Consultant may also be offered for ongoing support.

An important note about this program: As PIH continues to address physician shortages, the Pediatric Care Program does not offer access to a family physician at this time. We continue to search for additional physicians to add to our clinic’s capacity.
